Welcome to the revised Oppo Census 2016! If as many of you can fill it out honestly (*COUGH* THEHONDABRO *COUGH*), we’ll be able to see all the weird vehicular statistics of this place.

The Oppo Census will ask you a few questions about yourself (don’t worry, you will remain anonymous) and a lot of questions about your vehicle history. This includes motorcycles/scooters/etc. I have grouped motorcycles/scooters/etc with power sports vehicles like ATVs.

There are 6 sections, but most of them are short. It’s just for organization purposes.

Even if you don’t have or never had a car, feel free to participate.

The form will be open from August 29 to December 30 (mainly so more people can answer and I can focus on school and stuff).

A results post will appear hopefully soon after the form closes.

Some ridiculous-looking answers are there because I tried to cover all the bases. There actually are AWD motorcycles, according to Google. I put FWD for the hell of it because I knew somebody was going to say I missed something. Case in point, I missed Geo as a brand.

I know it’s not the popular oppinion anymore, but I fail to see how the two are different. I’m aware that makes me “old fashioned” or even “a hateful horrible, stubborn moronic, republican(haha nope). But I don’t understand how it has become so acceptable to sit decide your gender. Like your physical body doesn’t determine is your male or female. I’m not going to abuse anymore for making a being gay, or trans or whatever, it’s their life, it doesn’t effect me. But if you “change” your gender on a regular basis, I’m calling bullshit on that. At that point your just acting like a 13 year old who’s devorced parents are giving enough attention.

the definition of gender also shows that it should be decided by a persons physical sex. “the behavioral, cultural, or psychological traits typically associated with one sex”

Anyway, I’m not trying to change any ones thinking just expressing my own views. I know it’s no longer the popular one either. Also this is a descission I made for myself, not for anyone else. Here’s my take, if I may. When I think about the wide array of unusual traits people are born with (two different colored eyes, extra digits, synesthesia (the ability to hear and taste colors), hell even simply being left handed), it seems extremely unlikely statistically speaking that a person’s physical sex (which type of genitalia they have) and their neurological gender (the gender their mind instinctively says they are, for lack of better wording) could possibly match up 100% of the time. It’s even more unlikely when you consider the fact that people being born with both sets of genitals is a thing that actually happens.

Which biological equipment you have, which social gender your mind considers itself, and who you are sexually attracted to (i.e. “gay” is neither a sex nor a gender) are separate in a lot of ways. Certain combinations of the three are more common than others, but it doesn’t mean other combinations aren’t possible, or that they can’t change after birth for some people—particularly, like all things social/psychological/whatever you want to call it, gender.

I don’t think you’re being hateful, though. “Old fashioned” is a good way to put it, in the same way that people who think the earth is flat or that humans coexisted with dinosaurs are “old fashioned”—as you put it, they just “fail to see” things that, through science, have become widely and empirically known. It isn’t really a matter of opinion, except insofar as you think things should or shouldn’t be “allowed.”
